This is the best compact version if your client wants Spiti in one week, starting and ending at Manali. It is more adventurous than the Shimla side because the Manali route climbs quickly and crosses very high terrain early in the trip, so I would sell it mainly for the late June to early October window. Himachal Tourism notes regular road access/bus movement from Manali to Kaza in the July-October season, and the official Spiti page lists Kunzum Pass at 4,590 m, which is why this route feels exciting but physically tougher.
On arrival in Manali, keep the day light and easy. This night is important because the rest of the trip gains height quickly. I would keep the stay in Aleo, Prini, or near Mall Road / Log Huts side, depending on budget and client type. The program for the day should be arrival, hotel check-in, rest, light local walk, early dinner, and overnight in Manali. For a package, keep this on MAP basis: breakfast next day + dinner at hotel. This first halt is especially useful because the Manali-Spiti side is the faster, harsher ascent compared with the Shimla-Kinnaur side.
Day 1 : Hotel

After early breakfast, depart for Kaza on the classic high-altitude route. This is the toughest road day of the itinerary and should be treated as a full-day mountain transfer. Recent route guides place Manali to Kaza at about 200-202 km, and because of rough patches, water crossings, and mountain roads, this usually takes the better part of the day. Sell this stretch as raw Himalayan adventure rather than a comfort drive. By evening arrive in Kaza, check in, rest, and keep the night quiet. Overnight stay should be in the Kaza market / Kaza upper area for easier access to cafés and the next two sightseeing days.
Day 2–5 : Hotel

After breakfast, do the classic monastery and village circuit. Himachal Tourism lists Key Monastery 12 km from Kaza and Kibber 18 km from Kaza, and also describes Kaza as the main base for exploring the region, with practical facilities like bank, ATM, post office, and fuel station. That is why I would keep multiple nights in Kaza rather than shifting hotels every day. The day can be planned very smoothly with visits to Key Monastery, Kibber village, and Chicham Bridge before returning to Kaza by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.

today is for the famous high-village circuit. The official Spiti tourism page places Langza 16 km, Hikkim 17 km, and Komic 18 km from Kaza, making them ideal for one full sightseeing day based out of town. This is the day to market as the “post office, highest village, and Buddha-statue landscape day.” The flow should be slow and scenic rather than rushed, because these villages are all about experience, views, and photography. Return to Kaza by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, take the cultural side of Spiti. Himachal Tourism lists Tabo 48 km from Kaza and describes Tabo Monastery as a complex founded in 996 AD, while Dhankar lies between Tabo and Kaza on a 7 km branching road from Schichling and sits at about 3,370 m. This makes Day 5 ideal for clients who want heritage and dramatic cliffside monastery views without changing hotels. Start early, cover Tabo Monastery first, continue for Dhankar, and return to Kaza for overnight stay. If you want a quieter premium version, this same day can also be sold with a Tabo overnight instead of returning to Kaza.

Today is the scenic high point of the journey. Himachal Tourism lists Kunzum Pass 75 km from Kaza and Chandratal 98 km from Kaza, and describes Chandratal as the famous crescent-shaped “Lake of the Moon” lying north of Kunzum. HPTDC lists Chandratal at about 4,270 m, which is why camps here remain seasonal and the night must be kept simple and restful. Start after breakfast, cross Losar and Kunzum, move toward Chandratal camp area, and keep the evening for a relaxed lake visit and sunset mood. Overnight stay should be in the Chandratal camp zone, generally on fixed meals

After breakfast, start the return drive to Manali. Recent route guides place Manali-Chandratal at roughly 115-130 km, but the road usually takes 6-8 hours or more depending on weather and surface conditions, so this is another day that should be sold as an adventure transfer rather than a simple drop. Once back in Manali, the package can end with airport / Volvo point / hotel drop.
You check out this morning, so there is no hotel charge for the final day.
