Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to The Hotel. Since this is your first day at high altitude, keep the day extremely relaxed. After check-in, have lunch at the hotel and rest for a few hours. Avoid sleeping for too long during the daytime, but also avoid walking too much. Drink water regularly, eat light food, and avoid alcohol. In the evening, only if everyone feels comfortable, step out for a gentle visit to Shanti Stupa for sunset. It gives a beautiful first view of Leh town and the surrounding mountains. After that, you can take a short walk in Leh Market for cafés, souvenir shops and winter-wear stores, but keep it brief. Return early to The Grand Dragon and sleep well because proper acclimatization will make Nubra and Pangong much more enjoyable.

After breakfast at The begin your Hotel htseeing around 9:30 AM. Today should still be comfortable and not too aggressive. Start with Hall of Fame, which is a well-maintained museum dedicated to Ladakh, the Indian Army and the region’s history. Continue to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, then stop at Magnetic Hill, followed by the Sangam viewpoint, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. This route is scenic, easy to cover, and ideal for your second day. After lunch, return towards Leh and visit Leh Palace or Thiksey Monastery, depending on how energetic you feel. If you want a more photogenic and grand monastery experience, choose Thiksey Monastery. If you want to stay closer to town, choose Leh Palace. In the evening, return to The Grand Dragon and keep the night restful. This is also the best time to confirm your permits/payment slips for Nubra, Pangong, Khardung La, Shyok and Chang La routes, and pack only a smaller overnight bag for the next two nights.

After breakfast, guests will check out from the hotel and begin the journey towards **Nubra Valley**. The drive goes from Leh towards South Pullu and then climbs up to **Khardung La**, one of Ladakh’s most famous high mountain passes. Guests may stop briefly at the pass for photographs, but it is advisable not to spend too much time there due to high altitude and cold winds. From Khardung La, the road descends towards North Pullu, Khardung village, Khalsar, and then into the beautiful Nubra Valley. As the vehicle enters Nubra, the scenery changes from rocky mountains to a wide valley with river streams, green fields, poplar trees, and small Ladakhi villages. On arrival in Nubra, guests will visit **Diskit Monastery**, the oldest and most important monastery in the valley. The monastery is located on a hilltop and offers beautiful views of the surrounding valley. The nearby large **Maitreya Buddha statue** is one of the major highlights of Nubra and is a wonderful place for photography. Later, guests will continue towards Hunder, famous for its cold-desert sand dunes. The landscape here is unique, with sand dunes surrounded by rugged mountains. Guests can spend the evening at **Hunder Sand Dunes** and, if interested, enjoy a short ride on the famous double-humped Bactrian camels. These camels are historically associated with the old Silk Route trade. After sightseeing, guests will check in at **Saser Resort Wellness** for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, guests will check out from **Saser Resort Wellness** and begin the scenic drive from Nubra Valley to **Pangong Lake** via the Shyok route. This is one of the most beautiful and adventurous drives in Ladakh, passing through remote valleys, rugged mountains, riverbeds, and isolated landscapes. The route generally follows Nubra to Khalsar, Agham, Shyok, Durbuk, Tangtse, and then Pangong. Road conditions on this route can vary depending on weather, water crossings, and local conditions, so an early start is recommended. The journey offers a raw and dramatic view of Ladakh’s wilderness and allows guests to avoid returning to Leh, making the travel flow smoother. There will be several photo stops along the way, especially around the Shyok River and the barren mountain stretches. Lunch can be arranged en route at a basic local restaurant or carried as packed lunch depending on season and availability. By afternoon or evening, guests will reach **Pangong Lake**, one of Ladakh’s most iconic attractions. The first view of the lake is truly memorable, as the deep blue water appears between barren mountains. Pangong is famous for its changing shades of blue, turquoise, and grey depending on sunlight and weather conditions. After check-in at **Saser Scenic**, guests can spend time near the lakeside, enjoy photography, and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Since Pangong is at high altitude and nights are cold, the evening will be kept relaxed. Dinner and overnight stay will be at **Saser Scenic, Pangong

Guests should wake up early to enjoy the sunrise at Pangong Lake. The morning light over the lake is one of the most beautiful experiences of the trip, as the colours of the water and mountains change gradually. After breakfast, guests will check out from **Saser Scenic** and continue the journey towards **Hanle**, one of the most remote and special destinations in Ladakh. The route usually passes through Man, Merak, Chushul, Tsaga La, Loma, and then Hanle. Since this road passes through sensitive border areas, permits and check-post formalities are very important. Guests must carry original ID proof and multiple permit copies. The drive from Pangong to Hanle passes through the Changthang region, known for wide open landscapes, high-altitude plains, nomadic settlements, and untouched natural beauty. This part of Ladakh feels quieter and more isolated than the regular tourist circuit. Along the way, guests may see vast grazing lands, small villages, remote military check posts, and, with luck, Himalayan wildlife such as kiang or migratory birds depending on the season. Facilities on this route are limited, so drinking water, packed snacks, basic medicines, and warm clothing should be carried By evening, guests will arrive in **Hanle**, a peaceful village known for its clean environment, open landscapes, and excellent stargazing conditions. Hanle is one of the best places in India for night-sky viewing due to its high altitude, dry climate, low population, and very low light pollution. After check-in at **Sky Adobe**, guests can rest and later enjoy a quiet evening in the village. If the sky is clear, the night can be used for stargazing and astrophotography. Guests should avoid using bright lights and camera flash unnecessarily, as Hanle is an important dark-sky region. Dinner and overnight

The morning in Hanle is calm and beautiful, with wide views of the surrounding mountains and high-altitude plains. After breakfast, guests can visit **Hanle Monastery**, located on a hill and offering a wonderful view of Hanle village and the valley below. Hanle Monastery is an important cultural landmark and adds a spiritual element to the visit. If access is permitted and conditions allow, guests may also visit the **Indian Astronomical Observatory area** from outside or as per local permission rules. The observatory is one of the major reasons Hanle is well known among astronomy lovers and night-sky travellers. After completing the local visit, guests will start the long return journey to Leh. The route usually goes through Loma, Nyoma, Mahe, Chumathang, Upshi, and then Leh. This is a long but scenic drive through remote Ladakh, following river valleys, barren mountains, and small settlements. Chumathang is known for its hot springs and can be used as a short rest stop during the return journey. Because the Hanle to Leh journey is long, the day should not be overloaded with too many additional stops. The priority will be a safe and comfortable return to Leh. On arrival, guests will check in again at **The Grand Dragon Ladakh** and rest after completing the remote high-altitude circuit. If time and energy permit, guests may take a final evening walk around Leh Market. Dinner and overnight stay will be at **The Grand Dragon Ladakh, Leh**
