Distance: Leh Airport to hotel approx. 5–10 km Duration: 20–30 minutes Overnight Stay: Leh
On arrival at Leh Airport, you will be welcomed by our Besttripdeal representative or Besttripdeal driver, who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Since Leh is located at a high altitude, this day is very important for acclimatization, especially for guests flying directly from lower-altitude cities.
Guests are advised to avoid heavy sightseeing, long walks, running, alcohol consumption, and any tiring activity on the first day. Drink plenty of water, eat light meals, and rest properly so that your body can adjust to the altitude. Some guests may experience mild symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness, also known as AMS, such as headache, dizziness, nausea, tiredness, disturbed sleep, or loss of appetite. These symptoms are common on the first day in Leh and usually improve with rest and hydration.
In the evening, guests may take a short and slow walk around Leh Market only if they feel comfortable. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
No hotel for Day 1 in Leh — a taxi trip is booked without one unless you add it.

Distance: Approx. 210–240 km Duration: 7–9 hours, depending on route and road conditions Overnight Stay: Kargil
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your scenic journey towards Kargil via the Sham Valley and Aryan Valley belt. This day offers a beautiful combination of river landscapes, monasteries, cultural villages, mountain roads, and remote Ladakhi settlements. The route follows the Indus River for a large part of the journey and gives guests an excellent introduction to western Ladakh.
En route, guests may visit popular attractions of the Sham Valley region such as Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Indus–Zanskar Sangam viewpoint, Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, and Basgo Palace ruins, depending on time and comfort. Continue towards the Aryan Valley region, known for villages such as Dah and Hanu. This belt is famous for its unique culture, traditional lifestyle, beautiful village scenery, and peaceful atmosphere. Aryan Valley sightseeing is subject to permits, route feasibility, weather, and local regulations.
Later, continue the drive towards Kargil. On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax after the long journey. Kargil offers a different landscape and historical character compared to Leh. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Kargil.

Distance: Approx. 215–230 km Duration: 6–8 hours Overnight Stay: Leh
After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Kargil and begin the return journey to Leh. The Kargil–Leh highway is one of the most scenic drives in Ladakh, offering beautiful views of barren mountains, small villages, high-altitude passes, monasteries, and dramatic landscapes. Depending on time and road conditions, guests may visit Mulbekh Maitreya Buddha statue, Namika La, Fotu La, Lamayuru Monastery, and the famous Moonland landscape near Lamayuru.
Continue the drive towards Leh with short comfort and photography stops en route. On arrival in Leh, check in to the hotel and take some rest. Since this is a travel day, the evening is planned as relaxed “me time” so guests can enjoy Leh at their own pace. Guests may explore Leh Market, visit cafés, shop for souvenirs, buy local handicrafts, dry fruits, prayer flags, woollens, or simply relax at the hotel.
This day is designed to balance the long drive from Kargil with personal leisure time in Leh. No heavy sightseeing is recommended in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
No hotel for Day 3–4 in Leh — a taxi trip is booked without one unless you add it.

Distance: Approx. 40–50 km Duration: 4–5 hours Overnight Stay: Leh
After breakfast, proceed for a relaxed Leh local sightseeing tour. Begin with a visit to Shanti Stupa, a peaceful white-domed Buddhist monument offering panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding mountains. Later, visit Leh Palace, an ancient royal structure that reflects Ladakh’s history, culture, and traditional architecture.
Continue towards the Hall of Fame, a museum maintained by the Indian Army. It showcases the bravery of Indian soldiers, Ladakh’s military history, and the cultural background of the region. Depending on time and guest comfort, additional nearby sightseeing or market time can be included. Since guests have already covered many attractions on the Day 2 Kargil route, this day is kept light and comfortable.
The second half of the day is free for leisure and personal exploration. Guests may enjoy café hopping, shopping in Leh Market, visiting local bakeries, relaxing at the hotel, or taking a gentle walk around the town. This day also helps guests stay well-rested before starting the higher-altitude Nubra and Pangong sector. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Distance: Approx. 160–180 km round trip for Turtuk excursion Duration: 6–8 hours, depending on stops Overnight Stay: Nubra Valley Stay: Saser Resort & Wellness, Nubra
After breakfast, enjoy a full day in Nubra Valley. Since this itinerary includes two nights in Nubra, guests get a more relaxed and meaningful experience of the valley instead of rushing through it. Today, guests may either enjoy local sightseeing around Hunder and Diskit or proceed for an optional excursion to Turtuk, one of the most scenic and culturally unique villages in the region.
Turtuk is located close to the India–Pakistan border area and is known for its beautiful mountain views, apricot trees, traditional houses, and Balti cultural influence. The drive to Turtuk is extremely scenic, passing through rugged valleys, river views, army areas, and peaceful villages. On arrival, guests can take a gentle walk around the village, enjoy photography, and experience the calm atmosphere of this remote settlement.
For guests who prefer a relaxed day, local sightseeing around Nubra can be planned instead, including additional time at Hunder sand dunes, Diskit Monastery, village walks, or resort leisure. Later, return to the resort. Dinner and overnight stay at Saser Resort & Wellness, Nubra Valley.
Same stay as Day 5 in Nubra.
